The New Moon Eatery is a particularly prominent restaurant in Yuriba, serving a wide variety of Chinese cuisine. It is the successor to the Crescent Moon Eatery, the first Chinese restaurant in Yuriba.

The restaurant is located two blocks south of the Village Center, on the west side of White Lily Road and across from the Yuriba Free Library. In front of the restaurant is an elegant ornamental garden, providing a scenic view for diners and strollers alike.

The establishment is owned by Farah Al-Khaid, who retains her claim to the restaurant in absentia. It is currently operated by Jiang Mei Zhen, the general manager and server, and by an unknown partner in the kitchen.

Few (if any) restaurants in Yuriba can match the New Moon Eatery in terms of serving diversity. The restaurant has an extremely large menu, with a wide variety of dishes to appeal to many tastes. As well, a takeout service is offered, allowing visitors to take their meal home or to wherever they please.

The New Moon Eatery has received wide acclaim from island notables for the quality of its food and service.

A small apartment above the restaurant formerly provided a home for Farah and her fiancee, Meyumi O'Brennan, but the two have since left Yuriba.
