Athame is the alias of a young, formerly male Maonyanniichuan-cursed human from Langley, British Columbia, Canada.

Personality

A friendly, aloof, yet strangely quiet woman, Athame is rarely seen outside of her home and workplace.

Before Yuriba

Athame is rather quiet about her life on the mainland, but has made it known to several residents that she originated from the West coast of Canada, and was in fact a female-identified transgendered male, very early in transition. Nothing else prior to her arrival in June of 2005 on the island is unknown.

Presently

Athame has been locked in her cursed form almost as long as she's been on the island, preferring greatly to stick to her cat-woman form. The young woman has had several relationships on the island (including an unfortunately short-lived marriage to another young catwoman named Nene), but currently finds herself pursuing the single lifestyle, as well as working part time at Tail Club and spending much of her spare time at Leona's Bar and Girl.
