Shoujo-Ai MUSH takes place on the remote island of Yuriba, an isolated island in the Pacific island, some distance from Japan and located in a region known as "The Devil's Triangle" which acts much like the better known Bermuda Triangle. Yuriba is difficult, if not impossible to accurately plot, due to it's nature as a dimensional singularity; there is only one Yuriba for all worlds, and it is possible for people from many, many different realities to arrive here.
With almost no exceptions, Yuriba's population is female and lesbian; males are completely unknown in the native culture and those who immigrate here, even unintentionally, tend to fit this same mold. It is in fact theorized that the island self selects its residents, to some degree.
Life is largely concentrated in the village of Yuriba, a fairly small hamlet of about half a dozen major streets. Residences are scattered widely across the accessable parts of the island. These accessable areas consist of the village, a large forest, two mountains, one volcano, and a small sub island. It is believed there is a significant amount of land mass located to the west that is current inaccessable.
